David Ingerson called the meeting to order at 7:14 pm.
Last meeting's minutes were approved by email.
June report was discussed. Will will confirm balance for Summer Acoustic, and will clarify what is in working funds. He is awaiting July data from Mo.
September, October, and November are booked (Jim Page, Honey Don't w/ Lon Jones, Canote Brothers), December possible, January ideas, February booked, working on March, April, May. Committee decided to switch to a new venue. David did not ask if they'd organize party, will ask them or find other volunteers. He'll ask Delores. Corinne suggested the party feature a retrospective slide show such as the one Linda Johns did for Singtime. Decided to invite Meryl Korn, and offer travel expenses, up to $300, approved unanimously.
Five Euro Tip/Rob Hoffman proposal
Rob wants May 13, 2017 despite conflict with 2nd Saturday song circle, since it will be in the afternoon. David will OK.
Joining the Country Dance and Song Society
Deferred until next meeting.

Corinne's kind and diplomatic draft was approved, David will send on PFS letterhead with his signature.
David brought printouts of Stan's powerpoint presentation to the Concert Committee. He hopes to offer season tickets, provided season is set in time. Concert Committee has not agreed with his proposed ticket collection process. Issues under discussion are within the Concert Committee's charge from the board, so no action or decision is required by the board at this time.
Volunteer appreciation party
David mentioned a possible free venue at Portland Brewing's "public service room", late October suggested, perhaps the 16th or 23rd. $200 budget approved. Will cautioned that our liability insurance may not cover us if we provide alcohol.

The next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, September 21st at 7:00 PM at John's house, 2612 SE Madison.
